Two Roman Rulers
Directions: In your social Studies Notebook create a T-chart to record important information. On the Left write down information about Augustus & on the right side record information about Julius Caesar. 

Key Questions:
  • How are these two rulers alike?
  • How are they different?
  • What are the most important facts you learned?
  • What questions do you have about them?



Activity #2
The Roman Government & the 12 Tables
Directions: 
Read about the Roman Government, including the Fast Facts. Highlight the most important information.
In your notebook, use what you learned from the reading to make an inference about the Roman government.



Directions:

  • Read each of the 12 tables. 
  • For each one decide if you think that law is fair. Write a brief note to explain your thinking.
