Plan an Ancient Greek Wedding


Your Task: Become a wedding planning committee!!!

Imagine that you are starting a new Wedding Planning business in ancient Greece. Your job is to plan out a wedding for a potential new client. Create a sales pitch to explain and inform the client about the wedding arrangements you have planned for them. 


Directions to get you started: 
1. Read the passage titled, "Marriage Among the Ancients." Highlight important information about all the steps that go into an ancient Greek Wedding. 

2. Use your notes, and the information from the reading, to guide you as you plan out the wedding for the client.

3. You will work in teams of three to create your plan for your client's wedding. Be sure to include details regarding each step, or part, of the marriage process. Think big!!! You have to win over the client. 

4. Create a visual Display of the information in your wedding plan.

Congratulations!!!
 You have been selected to become the world’s very first time traveler. You and a partner have won an all expense paid vacation to Ancient Egypt. 
Yes, Ancient Egypt! 
As the winner of this extraordinary journey you will first need to decide which one of the Ancient Egyptian Kingdoms you would like to visit: the Old, Middle, or New Kingdom!

Directions: 
Create a Brochure describing the Kingdom you traveled to.
Step 1:
Select what Kingdom you will travel to. 
***Only 4 groups per Kingdom***
